Memories of London

As I head south to Virginia for a girls' weekend with friends (and hopefully to escape this dreary northern weather), I can't help but reminisce about the one city that does Christmas better than New York - London. I have very fond memories of Christmastime in London, one of my favorites being ice skating at Somerset House. The setting is stunningly beautiful, with the lights illuminating the neo-classical building in the background, the tree lit up and standing tall, and the nostalgia of skating against the blue tinted ice with music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker playing overhead. Rockefeller Center doesn't hold a candle to it.
Have a lovely weekend filled with much holiday spirit!
